Educate
the youngsters in their ways,
then
even when they grow old,
they
will not depart from it.

The
Chabad Jewish Community Center offers a unique and
enriching learning experience, with professional
staff and a modern new facility, for children of
all ages. In todays world it is imperative
for our youth to have a strong grasp on Hebrew
skills, Jewish practices and philosophy. Our goal
is to instill within your child a sense of Jewish
pride, so that they love their Judaism and cherish
it as their own treasure.

The
Hebrew word for sons/daughters is
bunayich. Our sages say that it can
also be read as bonayich - meaning
builders. The same word can mean
sons/daughters and builders
because sons and daughters are builders. They are
the builders of the forthcoming generation; the
ones who will shape the future. They have a
responsibility to make the world a better place.
Parents have the opportunity to provide these
builders with the necessary tools. A concrete
Jewish education is indeed a major and fundamental
tool.

At Chabad, Hebrew
knowledge is within reach. Students
who come in without a Hebrew background can master
the Aleph Bet and begin reading within a year.
Those with prior experience can develop their
reading skills and begin speaking Hebrew. Our best
proof of success is the numerous students already
learning at Chabad Talmud Torah who are proud of
their Hebrew reading and speaking skills. At
Chabad, not only are parents proud of their
children, but the children are proud of themselves.
Give your child the opportunity he/she deserves to
decipher the language of our heritage. Knowledge is
within reach and we would like to share
it.

Talmud
Torah:
This program is ideal for
the extracurricular life of today's child. The Chabad
Talmud Torah offers a stimulating environment for
children to grow with their Judaism.
Bar
and Bat Mitzvah Lessons:
These lessons are oriented
toward preparing our youth for Jewish adulthood. The
focus is to internalize our values, through understanding
the importance of Torah in our lives today. We will
explore the lives of our Jewish Heroes and Heroines, to
learn from these role models while becoming role models
for others.
What
do Parents say?
"Talmud Torah gave my
children a good feeling about being Jewish. The education
they received goes above and beyond just learning
Hebrew."
"It's more than just a school -
it's fun, it's enriching. It involves the whole
family"
"Talmud Torah has given my
children a rich spiritual life. I am delighted that they
have already surpassed me in knowledge.'
"My children's only complaint is
that classes aren't held everyday."
